Our feeding system is constructed in polypropylene, which is approved by the FDA for contact with food. Polypropylene is also 100% recyclable! The removable feeding bowl and adjusting hardware is constructed of stainless steel. On the bottom of the unit you will find an electroplated steel plate which acts as a weight to help prevent tipping and sliding.

Adjusting JoviBowl to customize your pet’s feeding experience is fast and easy.

The arm that allows for height adjustment of the removable stainless steel food or water bowl has an Allen bolt and nut at both ends. The lower one will allow you to adjust the height, and the upper one will adjust the tilt of the bowl.

You’ll find an Allen key stored under the base. Use this tool to loosen the screws. Adjust both the height and the tilt to what best fits to your pet’s size and needs and tighten the screws again.***Be cautious not to over tighten hardware***

Be sure to completely loosen arm hardware before attempting to adjust arm height or tilt of bowl. Always securely store the Allen key back under the base to keep it handy for any future adjustments of the tilt or the height of the bowl. 

The removable stainless steel bowl is 6”diameter and 2 1/4”deep.

The bowl holds 2 cups dry food or 17 fluid ounces.

You can wash the removable stainless steel bowl in the dishwasher. The plastic portion and base plate can be cleaned with a rag and dish detergent as needed.***The feeding system is not meant to be submerged in water***

JoviBowl can be adjusted as your pet grows!
It can also be adjusted/tilted to accommodate the temporary needs of your pet such as: Use of the dreaded cone of shame or E collars, recovery after surgery or accidents, etc.

***The tilt feature comes in handy for cats that prefer to lay while eating or smaller breeds such as chihuahuas***

It will depend on her/his breed, if she/he has difficulty swallowing, digestive or respiratory problems while eating. We suggest you consult your vet for more information on how to customize the height and tilt of the bowl to ensure the most appropriate feeding experience for your pet. 

Place it directly on a hard smooth surfaced floor for stability. The base rim is covered with TPE (thermoplastic rubber) to create friction with the floor and help prevent sliding and scratching.
TPE is also used as a gasket on the top of the plastic bowl that cups the stainless bowl to help keep it from sliding and or slipping during feeding. 

JoviBowl comes with a removable stainless steel bowl that holds approximately 17 fl. Oz / 2 cups of dry food depending on the tilt of the bowl.
